In February of 2006 a group of dedicated medical professionals saw an opportunity to better serve the medical communities courier needs. We saw the way that the industry was operating and we decided that we could do more than the “status quo” and put a better service out there. We wanted to treat every client as if they were our only client. By that summer we decided to take the project on full time and not look back. It was very hard for the first six months when we were trying to get the company off the ground, but by February 1, 2007 we opened our doors for business for the first time. Now that we’ve settled in we would like this opportunity to explain to you exactly what we do here at New England Medical Express.
New England Medical Express is a 24 hour/ 365 day medical delivery company who offers same day all points New England service. We offer car/van as well as box truck service. New England Medical Express only caters to the medical communities needs. We have regularly scheduled routes at discount prices as well as rush stat delivery for emergency and lab samples.
Our drivers are fully aware of the often critical or confidential nature of the rapid transit delivery service. All of our drivers are well screened. Their appearance is very professional and well groomed. The drivers are trained and kept up-to-date on OSHA and HIPAA standards as regards the transporting of lab samples and handling of your package. All drivers wear easily identifiable logoed shirts or jackets and ID badges. They carry Nextel communication devices in order to maintain a constant state of communication. Tracking a deliver or securing an ETA is always a phone call or a click away.
